< Back to Previous Page Jupiter Police Department Responds To Vehicle Crash At approximately 11:20am, officers responded to a vehicle crash at the intersection of Indiantown Road and Jonathan Drive. Investigation on scene, revealed the operator of a 2005 Toyota was traveling east on Indiantown Road and was attempting to make a left turn into the Intercoastal Pointe Plaza. A second vehicle, 2006 Dodge van, was traveling west on Indiantown Road, when the operator of the Toyota turned into the path of the Dodge van. At that time, the Dodge van collided with the passenger’s side of the Toyota causing the Toyota to overturn and come to rest in an upright position. The passenger of the Dodge van, Jose Silva, sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Jupiter Medical Center for treatment. The operator of the Dodge van, Vladimir Iglesias (white/male 08/15/62) did not sustain any injury. The operator of the Toyota, Mary O. Altimas (white/female, 10/12/12), was transported to St. Mary’s via ground where she later succumbed to her injuries.
