City of Daytona Beach Police Department Responds To Fatal Car Crash
On this date, at approximately 10:46 a.m., the Daytona Beach Police Department responded to 2020 Beville Road, Fire Station 6, regarding a traffic crash. William T. Farmer, date of birth 12/9/20, and his wife, Mary M. Farmer, date of birth, 11/16/21, of South Daytona, were leaving the Fire Station after receiving their flu shots.
Mr. Farmer was driving a blue, 2002 Buick LeSabre, and exited the parking lot to cross the westbound lane to reach the median. Amanda P. Stinson, date of birth 11/16/73, of Daytona Beach, was traveling west on Beville Road, when Mr. Farmer pulled in front of her vehicle.
Ms. Stinson had no time to stop, and struck their vehicle. Both Mr. and Mrs. Farmer did not survive the accident, and next of kin have been notified. Ms. Stinson was transported to Halifax Medical Center with an arm injury. It is unknown at this time if any traffic charges will be filed.
