Ronald T. Martin was born in Cleveland, Ohio, June 23, 1945. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1977 and the Ohio Bar in 1971. He graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1967, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1971. He graduated from the University of Miami in 1977 with a Master of Laws Degree in Estate Planning. Mr. Martin is a Board Certified Wills, Trusts and Estates Lawyer (Emeritus), Florida Bar Board of Certification. He has been a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel since 1992, and has been listed in the trusts and estates category of "The Best Lawyers in America" for 12 years. Mr. Martin was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami School of Law in the Graduate Program in Taxation (1987-1992) and the Graduate Program in Estate Planning (1988-1999). He has authored or co-authored more than 20 articles, book chapters and portfolios.
