Reuben M. Schneider was born in Bronx, New York in 1936. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1961.  Mr. Schneider graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and a minor in French. He then attended the University of Miami School of Law where he graduated Cum Laude and served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Miami Law Review. He was a member of Wig and Robe, the Law School Honor Society; the Scholastic Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi; ODK, the Men's Leadership honorary organization; and Iron Arrow, which is the highest leadership honorary society at UM. After law school, Mr. Schneider graduated from Harvard Law School with a Master of Law Degree.
 
Although he has a general legal background, Mr. Schneider’s basic area of specialty is in all aspects of real estate law. He is a Board Certified Real Estate Lawyer who has lectured in Continuing Legal Education Seminars and been called upon by other attorneys to serve as an expert witness in real estate matters. He is a member of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and speaks French and Spanish.
 
Mr. Schneider believes that it is very important to be a part of the community and, accordingly, he has been active with the Jewish Federation of Broward County and other charitable organizations. He was President of his condominium association and was Chairman of a Grievance Committee of The Florida Bar that oversees lawyers' activities.
