Herschel Gavsie was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1979. Prior to receiving his J.D. Degree from Nova University, he practiced law in Montreal, Quebec after having earned a Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is a member of the Florida Bar, and the Bar of the Province of Quebec. Mr. Gavsie is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Broward County Bar Association.
