Gerald Greenspoon was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He was admitted to the Bar in Florida in 1979 and to the Bar of the Province of Quebec in 1976. Prior to receiving his law degree from Nova University, he earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sir George Williams University in Montreal and a License in Laws from the University of Ottawa. He is a member of the American Bar Association; the Sections of Taxation, Real Property and Economics of the A.B.A.; and the Legal Advisory Technology Council of the A.B.A. Mr. Greenspoon is also a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, as well as the Section on Taxation.

In addition to professional organizations, he is a member of the American Resort Development Association and the Florida Land Title Association. He is a Founding Trustee of the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Greenspoon has developed a national reputation for himself and the firm in the areas of Timeshare Development and Condominium Conversions.
