Donald P. Dufresne is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and the University of Miami School of Law. His primary areas of practice include real property, lending and business transactions, including asset and equities transfers, condominium law, title insurance, financing, acquisition, development, leasing and 1031 exchanges. Mr. Dufresne also assists his clients in general corporate and partnership matters including domestic and international transactions. Mr. Dufresne has extensive experience in the drafting and negotiation of asset purchase, employment, shareholder, software development, licensing and internet hosting agreements. He has a particular specialty in equine law and matters involving the equestrian industry. He has also represented clients in various governmental agency matters including applications and appeals with the office of the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser for the agricultural classification of properties.

Mr. Dufresne is active in many civic, charitable and political organizations.  He is a former member of the Palm Beach County Planning and Zoning Commission, Chairman of the Village of Wellington Equestrian Preserve Committee, President of the Palm Beach County Sports Commission and the Chairman of WESTPAC.  He is also a member of the Forum Club and a Graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County.
